La Mancha

Located some 60 km from Madrid, La Mancha is Spain’s largest denomination of origin, occupying 30,700 km² with a total of 191,699 hectares of vineyards making it the worlds largest wine producing area. The wines are fresh and fruity, and their consumption has soared. The same is true of the oak-aged reds thanks to the use of oak barrels in the majority of the wineries.
